WorldWideWineList is built on a simple bet: that the great bottles of the world should be reachable to anyone willing to ask the right questions, and that asking those questions should feel like talking to a sommelier — not searching a database.

The Sommelier

Vivienne is our digital sommelier. She's informed by the same retrieval architecture used by professional wine buyers, and she's patient with anyone trying to figure out what to drink with Tuesday-night braised short ribs. Sage covers natural wine. Marcus knows where the value lives. Celeste builds cellars. Pick the voice that fits your night.

Where the wine comes from

We work with TTB-licensed distributors and a curated network of fine-wine partners across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas. Every bottle ships from a partner with the right credentials for your jurisdiction. We never ship a wine we can't legally deliver.

Compliance

Direct-to-consumer wine shipping is governed by a 50-state patchwork of rules in the U.S. plus the rules of every importing country we serve. We check eligibility on every cart, and we will refuse an order before we'll bend the rules.
